Activist Alicia King 125 N. Ahrens who resides in the petitioned area reminds
neighbors and fellow villagers of the next meeting by posting and passing out
safety flyers regularly. Alicia has four children and YES number five will be joining
us soon !
"Lou" the local ice cream truck driver boasting a railroad safety flyer on the side of his truck reminds the children of the nearby danger. "I don’t understand why the village won’t protect this neighborhood, these kids are so young and there are so many of them."
Kristens Law author John Davis has presented samples of this potentially life saving fence to Lombard President Bill Muellar and other village officials. Due to the recent tragedy and conflict in Village meetings dates/times, John announced his efforts would be best served in Steger for their Village meeting. Alicia King and or Diana Jones will continue to represent the petitioned area. Our website usually posts meeting results the following day.We will also be monitoring what actions are being taken in Stegar as far as their meetings are concerned.
