Residents of the petitioned area, drawn together since losing one of their children last February has announced The North Ahrens’ First Annual Block Party!
Organized by Jennifer Hagen the long overdue assembly of neighbors, family and friends will get together Saturday July 15 from 1:00pm-11:00pm. For what would have marked Kristen Bowen’s 15th birthday, this block represents her last steps taken during her short life. The culdesac at the end of the street will once again be used for railroad safety education. A movie on train safety will be shown at sundown and afterwards kids will be allowed to check out the fire trucks and police cars. Please click here for more info.
